Dante and Beatrice gaze upon the Highest Heavens; from Gustave Doré’s illustrations to the Divine Comedy.
The Divine Absolute, the Supreme Spirit Pervading the Universe, the Universal, the Holy One, God, Brahma, Allah, and so on, are names for the Highest Divinity. They are not different, for they are one and the same.
Over the last few thousand years the Universal Religion of the Universal One has been diverted into the many religions of the earth today. Each has retained some of the truth, but for the most part, it is mumbo-jumbo, with lots of rules and regulation not found in the original text the religions adhere to.
Even so, what is similarly found in the various religions is the act of treating others with kindness, caring for others, giving to the needy, and of course, not killing.
These actions are extremely important, and a necessity if one wishes to spend time with the Creator and Sustainer of the Universe. There is no other way. If you want to spend eternity with the Eternal One, it behooves you to practice not killing and compassion for others now. The Holy Path is not easy, but the Heavenly Breath is blown into all of us upon the earth for life, and to rise to Heaven in Heavenly Bliss. If you don’t make the effort to follow the Holy Teaching in this life, and dedicate your life to, why would the Holiest want to spend time with you after you are dead?
A few words from the Rigveda, from the Supreme Teacher, about the Path the Happiness.
