Who can comprehend the vastness of the universe, or even comprehend the expanse of the Milky Way galaxy, and what about the billions of galaxies in the universe? Illuminating the inner, middle, and outer areas of the universe is the same light to see and enjoy the splendor of the earth. Light travels at 186,000 miles (299337.98 km) per second; the circumference of the earth is about 28,000 miles (45061.63 km), so light can travel around the earth almost seven times per second. The moon is only 238,900 miles (384472.28 km) from earth so light bouncing off it arrives just 1.3 seconds later. The sun, however, is so far away it takes about 8 minutes and 20 seconds for sunlight to reach the earth. A light year is the distance light travels in a year (about six-trillion miles) and it takes light 26,000 years to reach earth from the center of the Milky Way galaxy. Who knows how many habited planets exist in the Milky Way, it could be in the millions, but wherever living breathing creatures reside, they receive the same blessings to prosper from the Divine Essence from which all created things emanate and to which they return.
All living, breathing creatures born in this extremely vast universe receive a breath for life and that is a promise of Brahma, the Creator of the universe. The air is the means to live upon the earth and the means to rise to the home above. To rise above, to become a star and shine a light upon a world of creatures.
