The Veda, the Sacred Knowledge, is the original teaching of heaven for the inhabitants of the earth to live happy together, and it is the same throughout the universe because the teacher is the Creator of the universe. When the teaching was discovered by humans upon the earth is speculative, but the Rgvedaschool puts it in rising Tretayuga, about 18,000 BCE. It would make sense because following the knowledge would usher in the Golden Age, the most peaceful and spiritual time on the earth.
The Rigveda says that Atharvan is the father of the human race and the one who discovered the path. Atharvan is said to be the writer of the Atharvaveda, a collection of spells with many suktas, hymns, for healing, eventually becoming a system of healing called Ayurvedic medicine. It is still widely practiced with many similarities to traditional Chinese medicine.
The Sacred Text says to offer full body prostrations before dawn as Atharvan is virtuous. The father of humanity often gave praise to the sun and when that faded, he found the Goddess leads to the Lord. He came to know the power and speed of heaven and the way to fill and hold for the flash of light, he became bright and knowing as the light spread from the vessel with a body of knowledge to praise.
Atharvan is the father of Dadhya, who was given the head of the horse of teach of sweetness. And to be just as Dadhya today to be the head of the horse and spread wide to hold to spread light, and true to a promise to reveal the sweetness of soma with the secret of heaven to bind to the Lord and continue in the condition.
Atharvan and Dadhya are ancient ancestors of the Rishis associated with the Rigveda. In old age, the Rishis became Buddhas. A Buddha is the highest state a human can attain, a state of oneness, enlightenment, and with a body of light is free of suffering. The teaching is of the Oral Tradition, Shruti, transmitted orally by the Brahmans from generation to generation until the ascension of Buddha Shakyamuni around 1000 BCE. There are people alive today that can recite the whole of the Rigveda but not know the teaching. But know this; knowing the way is just the beginning, a person needs to master the Holy Path, the meditations, and the doctrine of kindness towards all.
The Golden Rule of the Golden Age is compassion for all creatures that grasp for the breath and cry. Consume a vegetarian diet and enjoy watching the creatures of the land, water, and air, and if one is suffering, care for them. It does not matter if a creature has two feet, four feet, or no feet and speaks in a language unintelligible to you, treat them kindly so all can enjoy a life of happiness upon the earth. Such is the Holy Doctrine for the whole of the universe and here is a mantra to consider.
