The Veda, Sacred Knowledge of Heaven for people to attain the Heavenly State is not complicated, so it is attainable to everyone.  One ancient directive to consider for that is the Golden Rule, and the principle of treating others as you wish to be treated is found in many cultures and religions of the world. Similar to the Golden Rule is the Law of Karma. Karma is an ancient Sanskrit word meaning action and the effect of the action. Just as your living situation today is the result of past actions, your actions today will bear fruit in the future, in other words, what you sow so shall you reap.

Karma says that by being spiritual, one will attain a spiritual reward, but it has practical, real world value. If you go towards another person angry, chances are, you will be greeted with anger, and if you go towards with kindness, you will likely be greeted kindly.

The Sacred Knowledge of Heaven is compassion for whatever creature grasps for the breath and cries. There is also a meditative component to the teaching, but other than that, do what you want and be happy.
